Old Scholars Sports Weekend, 19th March 2011
The school has sent the following for inclusion on the AOSA website:
Dear Old Scholar,
The Old Scholars' Soccer, Hockey and Netball fixtures against the School are to be played on Saturday 19th March 2011. Soccer and Girls' Hockey 10.30am, Boys' Hockey and Netball 2.15pm start - netball to be played in the Sports Hall.
If you know of other Old Scholars who would like to be involved, do ask them to contact me at the address below.

Old Scholars Sports Weekend, 20th March 2010
Information about this weekend is on Facebook, search for the group "Old Scholars' Weekend 2010" (this is a weekend of sporting fixtures organised by Martin Gosney). Information from the Facebook group is reproduced below:
Dear Old Scholar,
The Old Scholars’ Soccer, Hockey and Netball fixtures against the School are to be played on Saturday 20th March 2010. Soccer and Girls’ Hockey 10.30am, Boys’ Hockey and Netball 2.15pm start.
Last year’s evening gathering was a great success and again I have booked a function room at King’s Croft Hotel, Pontefract hoping for an even better response to a formal meal in the evening after the matches (7.15pm for 8.00pm). The cost will be approximately £25 per head. I will need a £10 deposit for those attending. Old Scholars not involved in the fixtures and guests of Old Scholars are welcome to attend.
If you are replying by e-mail, I will also need you to send a cheque, payable to Ackworth School as a deposit. Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope with your reply which should reach me by the end of January 2010.

The Easter Gathering for 2010 is a long weekend. More information is available on the Easter page.

Are you organising an event that other Old Scholars might be interested in?
For example are you:
- Involved in a AOSA Guild activity?
